Online Communities

As leaders in agriculture, we have developed a series of online communities to deliver up to date, relevant and useful information to our industry. By sharing our information online we hope to break through geographic barriers to keep everyone consistently informed.

The Agronomy Community is a specialist website of key agronomic thoughts and advice from leaders in Australia. Members of the site have access to historical trials data and reports, CSIRO journals, soil and plant testing information, fertiliser industry updates and agronomic insights and guidance.

More recently, the Farmer Community was launched in response to a growing demand for readily accessible information about fertiliser market trends, new products and plant nutrition. Specifically for Australian farmers, the Farmer Community includes valuable information and practical advice to help guide farmers in their decision making about soil nutrient management and fertilisers.

An important component of this website is the Help a Mate program. The first initiative of the program is committed to helping rural communities be better prepared when trying to assist others who may be experiencing stress or a potential health issue. The program features a range of online tools and support materials including checklists, videos and a Question and Answer forum where you can anonymously communicate with a trained psychologist.

The third online community is due to be launched in 2012. The Customer Community will only be available to customers (distributors) of Incitec Pivot Fertilisers’ products. This site will deliver updated and relevant information as well as online ordering and monitoring capabilities.

Tasmanian customers will access product information directly through the Farmer Community.
