Industrial Chemicals

In addition to farming nutrients, Incitec Pivot supplies specialist products to chemical, mining, utility and manufacturing customers through its Industrial Chemicals business.

The company uses raw materials and co-products from its manufacturing facilities to produce specialised products for industrial chemicals activities, such as

• Mining Processing Chemicals
• Water Treatment 
• Industrial Processing Chemicals
• Process Manufacturing
• NOx Abatement

Locally manufactured and imported products are supplied to these markets. Australian made products account for 40 per cent of the total product volume.

Incitec Pivot manufactures these products at Geelong (Hydrofluorosilicic Acid), Gibson Island (Urea, Purified Carbon Dioxide, Anhydrous Ammonia, Aqueous Ammonia, SCR Urea and Easy U-Sol), Phosphate Hill (Ammonia) and Mt Isa (Sulphuric Acid).

Imported products, are mainly used in industrial manufacturing and are delivered to customers from our Gibson Island, Pinkenba, Kooragang Island, Geelong and Port Adelaide distribution centres.
